One India
Completed 2019
The renovation of the common spaces at One India Street was part of a master planning and architectural design service to improve the lobby and amenity package at an historic mixed-use building in downtown Boston. The goal of the design team was to modernize the tenant experience while honoring the history of the building with timeless, durable materials and a selection of complementary artwork and furniture. The entry sequence of One India was reorganized to separate residential from commercial tenants while integrating a larger mail room and package room. An adjacent retail space was renovated into a multi-functional co-working space and fitness center to provide an up-to-date amenity package for residents of this historic building. The renovation included a full FF&E package as well as a collaboration with Artists for Humanity and local photographers to celebrate the historic nature of the building.
Role: Managing clients, internal project teams, consultants, and contractors through all phases of design and construction. Included overseeing the specification of a full FF&E package and collaborating with an art consultant on a custom graphics and commissioned art package.
